We are sorry to announce that after 26 years at Mannamead Surgery, Dr Lloyd will be retiring from General Practice in September 2018.

The surgery looks forward to providing on-going care for all of Dr Lloyd's patients and will announce the reallocation to another GP within the practice nearer the time. Thank you for your patience.

Paramedic


Claire Elliott


Our paramedic deals with acute on the day patients in her clinic, working alongside, and being supported by, the other members of the team. She also carries out home visits, covering acute visits that would otherwise have been undertaken by a GP.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Melissa Buckingham (f)

Melissa is one of our  HCA'S/Phlebotomists - who are available each morning between 8.00am and 12am by appointment to take your blood test as requested by your Doctor. Please bring your blood request form with you if you have one. If you need a fasting blood test, you will be seen as close to 9am as possible. Please inform reception.

HCA's are  also trained to undertake various nursing tasks, such as simple dressings, ECG's, Blood Pressure checks, Adult Health Checks, Flu vaccinations, weight and height monitoring, urine tests etc, and available generally in the afternoons to undertake these tasks.
